FTN 2017 brought in over 20,000 pounds of food for the Storehouse - our client choice pantry program. You helped us feed over 11,000 people last year. FTN helps boost our summer food inventory so that we can continue meeting the increased need that arises. Many of you know that food insecurity rises during the summer months because children are no longer receiving school breakfasts and lunches. Struggling families find themselves trying to provide 10 extra meals a week on very limited budgets. It's not just parents and children, you also help us feed senior citizens, veterans and our homeless neighbors from all over Faulkner County.
What Happens on April 29- FTN day?
Participating Churches, Groups and Families will go to their local participating grocery stores between the hours 10 am and 2 pm on April 29 and go grocery shopping based on the shopping list provided. There will be trucks and volunteers waiting on location to receive your purchases.
