Staff Spotlight August: Landen Ward
When we think back to the spring of 2020, many of us remember empty streets, closed businesses, and the uncertainty that came with the COVID-19 pandemic. While much of the world paused, a handful of people stepped forward to serve. One of those people was Landen Ward.
Landen began volunteering at the Conway Ministry Center during one of the most challenging seasons in our organization's history. Wearing protective gear and serving without hesitation, he helped ensure that our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship continued to receive daily meals, medications, and the care they depended on. His willingness to show up in a time of fear spoke volumes about his heart for serving others.
Today, Landen serves as our Marketing Coordinator, helping share the stories of hope and transformation that unfold every day at the Ministry Center. Whether he's updating our website, designing graphics, or finding new ways to communicate our mission, Landen's creativity allows countless people to see the impact that is happening because of a compassionate community.
A lifelong Conway resident, Landen has been married to his wife, Jasmine, for one year and three months. Together they enjoy life with their dog, Willow, and their two cats, Indie and Shiloh.
Outside of his ministry role, Landen is a gifted web designer and enjoys helping businesses and organizations establish a professional online presence. If you're in need of website design services, he can be reached at Landen@wardbrotherdigital.com.
Landen reminds us that ministry doesn't always happen from a stage. Sometimes it happens behind a computer screen, behind a camera, or behind the scenes—faithfully using God-given gifts so that others can hear stories of hope. We are incredibly thankful for his servant's heart and the many ways he continues to strengthen the ministry of the Conway Ministry Center.
